Welcome to Glory Bee’s Sewing Center. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to our website, our online store, and the products, classes, and services we provide (together, the “Services”). The Services are provided by Glory Bees Sewing Center LLC (“Glory Bee’s Sewing Center”, “we”, “us”), located at 2112 Belair Road, Suite 5, Fallston, MD 21047.

By using our Services or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully. Some products and services carry additional terms, and where they do, those additional terms form part of your agreement with us.

Using Our Services

Please use our Services only as permitted by law and by these Terms. Do not interfere with the Services, attempt to access them by any method other than the interface we provide, or use them to infringe anyone’s rights. We may suspend or stop providing the Services to you if you do not comply with these Terms or our policies, or if we are investigating suspected misuse.

Using our Services does not give you ownership of any intellectual property rights in the Services or in the content you access.

Your Account

You may need an account to use some parts of our Services, such as order history, wishlists, class registration, or store credit. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity that occurs under your account. Please contact us immediately if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

Products, Pricing, and Availability

We work hard to keep product descriptions, images, pricing, and stock levels accurate, but errors happen and inventory moves between our retail store and our website. All orders are subject to acceptance and to product availability. If an item you ordered is unavailable, mispriced, or listed in error, we will contact you to arrange a replacement, a backorder, or a refund, and we reserve the right to decline or cancel the order.

Certain manufacturers require us to display pricing only under specific conditions. Where a price is not shown online, please contact us for a quote.

Payment and Billing Address

We accept major credit and debit cards, Affirm, and Glory Bee’s store credit. Payment is processed by our credit card processor, and we do not store your full card number on our website.

The billing address you enter at checkout must match the address your card issuer has on file for the card you are using. Orders placed on this website ship to the billing address, so your billing and shipping address are the same. If the address does not match the card, your bank will decline the payment and your order will not be completed. When that happens your card is not charged.

Sending an order as a gift to a different address? Please call our Online Support Desk at 443-981-3182, Option 4, and our online team will complete the order for you.

Our credit card processor also runs automated security screening on every transaction. These filters occasionally decline legitimate orders, for example because of the internet connection an order is coming from. If your payment is declined and you believe it should not have been, please call our Online Support Desk at 443-981-3182, Option 4, rather than repeatedly resubmitting the order, and we will complete it for you.

We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or require additional verification for any order we believe to be fraudulent or placed in violation of these Terms.

Shipping

Shipping timeframes, carriers, delivery restrictions, and international orders are covered in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Please note that we do not ship to businesses, hotels, or freight forwarders.

Returns and Refunds

Returns, exchanges, damaged goods, and class cancellations are covered in our Return & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Where these Terms and the Return & Refund Policy differ on a returns question, the Return & Refund Policy controls.

Classes, Service, and Repairs

Class registrations, machine service, repairs, sharpening, and long arm work may carry their own scheduling, deposit, and cancellation terms. Those terms are provided at the time of booking and form part of your agreement with us.

Store Credit

Store credit may be issued to your account, for example as a refund under our Return & Refund Policy or as a gift card. Store credit can be applied to purchases in our retail store or online, has no cash value, and is not redeemable for cash except where required by law. Any balance remaining after a purchase stays on your account for future use.

Email and Communications

When you place an order or create an account, we send you service messages such as order confirmations, shipping notices, and account notices. You may also choose to subscribe to The Buzz, our newsletter. You can unsubscribe from marketing email at any time using the link in those messages, which does not affect order related messages.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal information. By using our Services, you agree that we may use that information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Content and Intellectual Property

The content on this website, including text, product photography, logos, and branding, belongs to Glory Bee’s Sewing Center or to its suppliers and licensors, and may not be reused without permission. Patterns, designs, and digital files sold through our Services are licensed for your personal use and remain the property of their copyright holders. Please do not copy or redistribute them.

If you submit reviews, photographs, or other content to our Services, you keep ownership of it and grant us permission to display and share it in connection with operating and promoting our Services. Please only submit content you have the right to share.

We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement in accordance with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act.

Our Warranties and Disclaimers

We provide our Services using a commercially reasonable level of skill and care, and we hope you enjoy using them. Manufacturer warranties on sewing machines and other equipment are provided by the manufacturer, and we will help you make a warranty claim.

OTHER THAN AS EXPRESSLY SET OUT IN THESE TERMS OR ADDITIONAL TERMS, NEITHER GLORY BEE’S SEWING CENTER NOR ITS SUPPLIERS OR DISTRIBUTORS MAKE ANY SPECIFIC PROMISES ABOUT THE SERVICES. FOR EXAMPLE, WE DO NOT MAKE ANY COMMITMENTS ABOUT THE CONTENT WITHIN THE SERVICES, THE SPECIFIC FUNCTIONS OF THE SERVICES, OR THEIR RELIABILITY, AVAILABILITY, OR ABILITY TO MEET YOUR NEEDS. WE PROVIDE THE SERVICES “AS IS”.

SOME JURISDICTIONS PROVIDE FOR CERTAIN WARRANTIES, LIKE THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE EXCLUDE ALL WARRANTIES.

Liability for Our Services

WHEN PERMITTED BY LAW, GLORY BEE’S SEWING CENTER, AND ITS SUPPLIERS AND DISTRIBUTORS, WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUES, OR DATA, FINANCIAL LOSSES OR INDIRECT, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE TOTAL LIABILITY OF GLORY BEE’S SEWING CENTER, AND ITS SUPPLIERS AND DISTRIBUTORS, FOR ANY CLAIMS UNDER THESE TERMS, INCLUDING FOR ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE PRODUCT OR SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

IN ALL CASES, GLORY BEE’S SEWING CENTER, AND ITS SUPPLIERS AND DISTRIBUTORS, WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE THAT IS NOT REASONABLY FORESEEABLE.

Business Uses of Our Services

If you are using our Services on behalf of a business, that business accepts these Terms. It will hold harmless and indemnify Glory Bee’s Sewing Center and its affiliates, officers, agents, and employees from any claim, suit or action arising from or related to the use of the Services or violation of these Terms, including any liability or expense arising from claims, losses, damages, suits, judgments, litigation costs and attorneys’ fees.

About These Terms

We may modify these Terms, or any additional terms that apply to a Service, to reflect changes to the law or to our Services. We will post notice of modifications on this page. Changes will not apply retroactively and will become effective no sooner than fourteen days after they are posted, except that changes addressing new functions or made for legal reasons take effect immediately. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, please discontinue use of the Services.

If there is a conflict between these Terms and any additional terms, the additional terms control for that conflict.

These Terms control the relationship between Glory Bee’s Sewing Center and you. They do not create any third party beneficiary rights.

If you do not comply with these Terms and we do not take action right away, that does not mean we are giving up any rights we may have. If a particular term turns out to be unenforceable, that does not affect any other term.

The laws of Maryland, U.S.A., excluding Maryland’s conflict of laws rules, will apply to any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services. All claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will be litigated exclusively in the federal or state courts of Baltimore, Maryland, USA, and you and Glory Bee’s Sewing Center consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.
