Our November classes include some fun and novel holiday projects. Please check our website frequently as classes are often added during the month. Make certain you always get a copy of the supply list for classes. If you have any questions about class details, please do not hesitate to call us.
Wed., 11/6—Santa Bag. This delightful tote bag can be useful in so many ways during the season. Use it yourself for carrying holiday items, or give it to someone as a special gift. It is easy to construct—you will want to make several!
Fri. and Sat., 11/8 and 9—Nativity Pillow. This lovely bench pillow is a Kimberbell pattern. You will need to go online to purchase the embroidery file and embellishment kit before the class, as Glory Bee’s will not be supplying them. This would make an elegant addition to your holiday décor.
Tues., 11/12—3 Yard Quilt, “Poinsettia Pattern” from Quick Christmas Book. Join us for this popular class that helps you to learn many cutting and sewing skills while you piece together a quilt with your choice of fabrics. This class is for both beginning and experienced quilters. Stop by the shop before the class if you would like help in selecting fabrics—we will be happy to assist you.
Fri., 11/15—Christmas Club. This is the fourth class designed to help you with holiday gift and décor ideas, as well as allowing you time to complete your own projects. You may join this club at any time, and you will have access to all the patterns we have previously used. Come spend the day sewing and relaxing while getting ready for the holiday season.
Sats., 11/16 and 23—Christmas Stripes Tree Skirt. Alison, our guest instructor, will be showing you how to piece this stunning tree skirt from a pattern she designed. She will explain how to sew together strips and then how to use a 30-degree ruler to cut triangles. This class is for both new and experienced sewists. Come learn some new skills and add a colorful base to your holiday tree.
Tues. and Wed., 11/26 and 27—Bear Tracks Quilt. Take a break from your Thanksgiving preparations to put together this delightful quilt. The pattern involves a center panel surrounded by blocks and borders. It would make a great gift or a cozy wrap for winter evenings. |
