New in the Shop

Introducing AlphaClippies by it’s so emma, specialty marking clips that both label and hold fabric pieces together. Each box includes 26 letters and 10 numbers that are easy to read and have a textured grip.

Notion of the Month

Sprays and fusibles can leave a sticky residue on your iron. This month’s notion, Iron Clean, helps remove buildup so your iron has a smooth surface again.

June Classes & Clubs

June is filled with creative opportunities, including Embroidery Club, Thursday Sewing Club, Saturday Sewing Club, Sit & Sew, the “Spinning Crazy Quilt,” the “Meshing Around Bag,” and the Fun Duffle Bag class.

Please obtain a supply list when you sign up online or in person, and continue to check the website as classes may be added during the month.

Service Center Suggestion

Chuck reminds us that it is important to use the correct sized spool holder cap on your machine. A cap that is too large can cause thread to snag, leading to uneven stitching or thread breakage.

Ann’s Tip

Before turning a sewing or embroidery project inside out, take a few extra moments to clip corners, taper seam allowances, and clip curves up to the seam line. These simple steps can make a big difference in the finished look.
